She came to him at dawn, his bleakest hour. As the beast raged inside him, threatening to consume him, he vented his centuries-old despair in an anguished cry that filled the waning night. ANd she answered, a ray of light, piercing his darkness. A beuatiful angel. Her compassion, courage, and innocence awakened in him an exquisite longing and tenderness. He knew he must possess her, for only she could tame his savage side and lift the dark shadow from his soul. Apart they were desolatee, bereft. Intertwined physically and spiritually, they could heal one another and experience an eternity of nights filled with love.
Christine Feehan has created an incredible world with it’s own rules and Carpathian’s that steel my heart away, no not steel it, they claimed it! For there’s not only Mikhail, but also Gregori, whom makes me weak in the knees, Jacques, Aidan, Byron, they all make me want to read their stories. Christine Feehan has a way to give such power to the emotions that the characters are going through, it marks everything they do, from action filled scenes to the passion between hero and heroine. This, for me, makes the book rise above the mediocre. Dark Prince is with it’s entrance to another world, rich in it’s romance with fierce and possesive Alpha-Males, a strong heroine and a dark battle between good and bad.
