He came to her in the night, a predator - strength and power chiseled his features. The seduction was deep and elemental; he affected her soul. His need. HIs darkness. HIs terrible haunting loneliness. Her senses aroused, she craved the dangerous force of his body. Burned for him. And he only touched her with his mind.

She came to him at dawn, his bleakest hour. As the beast raged inside him, threatening to consume him, he vented his centuries-old despair in an anguished cry that filled the waning night. ANd she answered, a ray of light, piercing his darkness. A beuatiful angel. Her compassion, courage, and innocence awakened in him an exquisite longing and tenderness. He knew he must possess her, for only she could tame his savage side and lift the dark shadow from his soul. Apart they were desolatee, bereft. Intertwined physically and spiritually, they could heal one another and experience an eternity of nights filled with love.

I have heard much about Christine Feehan, some ecstatic….some not, so I was in doubt, would I like it or not? Was it my kind of vampire? Well, there’s only one way to find out and I haven’t been disappointed, in fact, I’m pleasantly surprised because the story swept me away with Mikhail so dark and broody, knowing he’s on the brink of turning vampire. The minute Raven and Mikhail make “contact” emotions sizzled the story which draws you into the Carpathian world with every page, every thought and every burning need.

Christine Feehan has created an incredible world with it’s own rules and Carpathian’s that steel my heart away, no not steel it, they claimed it! For there’s not only Mikhail, but also Gregori, whom makes me weak in the knees, Jacques, Aidan, Byron, they all make me want to read their stories. Christine Feehan has a way to give such power to the emotions that the characters are going through, it marks everything they do, from action filled scenes to the passion between hero and heroine. This, for me, makes the book rise above the mediocre. Dark Prince is with it’s entrance to another world, rich in it’s romance with fierce and possesive Alpha-Males, a strong heroine and a dark battle between good and bad.
