Summary:I had everything a woman could want…
My husband, James. The house on the lake.
My life. Our perfect life.
And then Alex came to visit.

The first time I saw my husband's best friend, I didn't like him. Didn't like how James changed when he was around, didn't like how his penetrating eyes followed me everywhere.
But that didn't stop me from wanting him. And, surprisingly, James didn't seem to mind.

It was meant to be fun. Something the three of us shared for those hot summer weeks Alex stayed with us. Nobody was supposed to fall in or out of love. I didn't need another man, not even one who oozed sex like honey and knew all the secrets I didn't know, the secrets my husband hadn't shared. After all, we had a perfect life.
And I loved my husband.
But I wasn't the only one.

Review:
With closing the book of Megan Hart’s Tempted I feel cheated out of a blissful happily ever after, that everything worked out, that man and woman are happy, in love and can’t get enough of each other. If there is one thing that stood out from everything else is that the story of Anne is something that could happen to anyone. There is a level of realism woven into this story which makes every character so understandable but also created an ending that broke my heart into a thousand pieces. Even as I’m writing this review I want to cry a river for Anne, James and Alex. I wanted them to be happy in a way that worked for them but actually I wanted a happily ever after that worked for me, that what would make me close this book with a blissful sigh of romantic closure.

Instead Megan Hart gave me a woman, Anne, whom is married with James for six years and though she has it all there are things stirring underneath the surface of her life. When Alex came from Asia to stay with them for the summer all longings where bared and it turned into a force to be reckoned with. Besides the blossoming triangular relationship there is another major thing going on in Anne’s life, and this is the thirtieth wedding anniversary of her parents. She and her sisters are planning the party but Anne isn’t the only one sporting with problems.

  2. Hi E.H,
You've been strutting around on my blog and I had a blast opening my e-mail box an hour ago. Luuurve me some e-mail LOL I try to post a reaction to each reply ;-)

I will definitely hook myself up with another novel of Megan Hart, there is one novel who almost unanimously is a great read from her hand. It is either Dirty or Strangers. But in this novel the ending is as dramatic as it is, romance wise, leaving me with a two sided feeling. But she did get a rise out of me with that ending...just not the one I was hoping for, ppfff
