Mailbox Monday

Hi everybody,
I had the most awesome week regarding books. Our book announcer a.k.a our apartments ship's horn of a bell rang each day and it was music to my ears. My booklovin' instincts where in a perpetual state of bliss, I can tell you that : ) Unlike my hubby *eek* Since we are always last on the mailman's delivery route for packages hubby said to the mailman that next time he would drop by he would set up two chairs on the balcony so they could have either beer, soda of coffee. He sees him so often they actually know the addictions of each other’s wives, mine is books his wife's are shoes.

I had a confrontational mail experience which I will tell you all about in my upcoming blogpost about addictive behavior. But an MBag full of the good stuff arrived this week and the ROOB gang met up with each other last saturday :D Now these days are always short and 12 hours go by in the blink of an eye. We celebrated Pearl and my birthday with good food (we actually got sang to by the restaurants crew *headdesk* and it so calls for revenge) after that we went to see the movie The Hangover and after that we went to pearl's place again for some more talk and we actually saw an episode of True Blood...at 2 AM In all honesty, I don't think it is a series for me but then I read the first book; Dead Until Dark and I didn't get the pull on the series then either *sigh*

So it was about 3.30-ish AM when we all got really tired and headed home. I dragged my body to bed at 5-ish AM and the next morning I woke up and I just didn't get my groove on for the remainder of the day, a side effect I am always willing to bear cause the 12 hour fun is simply irresistible when your among friends and fellow booklovers like; Natascha, Marissa or Pearl :D

Anyway, here is a pic of my bookloot of last week:

I have the collectors box of Harry Poter paperback issues for the Harry Potter Challenge.
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007)

I also received me some more of the High Risk novels from JoAnn Ross:

High Risk
Some series I just want to re-read over and over and savor in rhapsody hardcover, Alyysa Day is one of them.
Warriors Of Poseidon series:
Though I still have to start me up in Lara Adrian I am very excited to have those in hardover too:
Midnight Breed
When I read Blodeuedd's review of Suzanne Collins I looked up some more info and knew I had to try this YA out:
Hunger Games
I also had the pleasure to win a contest at Megan Hart's blog and I am looking forward to her new series:
Order of Solace
Next to Harry Potter box set of book I also got Tessa Dare for my birthday :)
Tessa Dare - Goddess Of The Hunt.

Thanks to Kristie from Rambling On Romance and her passion for the Great Wester Drive I bought me two books:
I also got me a new addition in the Guardians series from Meljean Brook:
And last but not least, I saw an page wide add in my RT magazine last month and knew instantly I had to buy the debuting book from Annette McCleave:
I think that about sums up my Mailbox Monday. Of course everything found a place on my shelves and now I only have to find time to read it all *wink*

Hope you all had some great books delivered. Please feel free to share what you got and look forward to reading immediately.
